According to the article, the grandma claimed that a two-foot-long snake entered the house on Friday after the toddler picked it up, mistaking it for a toy. He then bit the cobra, ripping it in two, and the snake perished.
According to village residents, the cobra approached the child too closely, which may have irritated him, forcing him to pick it up and bite it, according to an India Today story. They described it as a reflexive act in which the toddler sank his fangs into a snake, killing it instantly.
Following the event, the youngster was brought to Majhauliya Primary Health Centre for admission and treatment. Following the initial treatment, the youngster was referred to the Bettiah Government Medical College and Hospital for further care.
Dr Devikant Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of JMCH Hospital, told Live Hindustan that the infant has displayed no signs of venom infection and is still being treated. He added that the child is safe.

According to wildlife specialists, severe rainfall and unplanned building have drove snakes from their natural habitats into homes and residential areas. Recently, Gurugram experienced an increase in snake sightings during the monsoon season, with 85 snakes rescued across the city in July.
Cobras are considered one of the deadliest species, with snakebites claiming lives across India. A few days ago, two sisters from Ludhiana’s Pawat village died after being bitten by a snake while sleeping. The two girls were sleeping on the roof when the snake bit them, and they died within minutes.
